I decided to do a prezi on 'How a film is made?' so people knew the stages of making a film before the film gets distributed and the work that goes into doing it.
Many companys that distribute films are:
•Universal Studios
•Warner bros
•Paramount Pictures
•Lions Gate Uk
•20th Century Fox
These are very known distributing companies so they are not likely to distribute my film unless we had personal links to one of the companies. After doing reasearch it is likely for our film to be released by a company such as:
•Shorts International
The above company 'Shorts International' is based in London and they do film festivals and events so people like us can enter our short films. Being based in London means we would have an easy travel to the events or festivals. Shorts international have distributed many short films such as:
•A girl and one gun
•The ballad sandeep
Universal Studios
Universal Studios was founded in 1912 by Carl Buttman, and is a subsidiary of NBCUniversal. NBCUniversal is owned by Comcast(51%) and General Electric(49%).
Universal studios have distributed many recent films such as:
• Safe House - action thriller
• contraband - action thriller
• Big Miracle - drama romance
